Falcon 1 update

The launch window for the maiden fight of Falcon 1 has been slipped to March 20 through 25. The flight will take place form the Kwajalein Atoll of the Marshall Islands. The payload for the mission will be FalconSat-2, part of the Air Force Academy’s satellite program that will measure space plasma phenomena.

SpaceX is developing a family of light, medium, and heavy lift capability reusable launch vehicles. The Falcon 1, Falcon 5, and Falcon 9 launch vehicles intend to reduce the cost and increase access to space -- eventually for human passengers!

SpaceX was founded by Elon Musk who previously co-founded PayPal, the world’s leading electronic payment system.
